About Department

The Department of Commerce at St. Joseph’s College for Women (Autonomous) offers the B.Com (Computer Applications) program, designed to help students excel in the fields of commerce and the IT industry. This three-year course provides a strong foundation by combining both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in commerce and computer applications, preparing students for diverse career opportunities.

The department is committed to academic excellence and focuses on developing analytical, technical, and managerial skills among students. It regularly organizes seminars, workshops, and guest lectures to enhance industry exposure and practical learning. The curriculum is continuously updated to meet current industry requirements, ensuring students remain competitive and future-ready.
