Student Support Initiatives
The results of the End Semester Exams are put up according to the Roll No of the candidates who passed in each specific subject, batch wise.
- Awarding extra credit for special achievers in NSS, NCC, Academics, Sports, Social Service at a National level.
- Conduct of Special Mid Semester for students participating in National events of NSS, NCC, Sports or State level competitions, tests etc.
- Conducting a Special Supplementary exam in Semester VI for those who have backlogs of Semester V so that the Final Year Students can clear all their exams before their VI Semester End Examination. This practice ensures that the students are still in touch with the Subject making their performance better.
- Instant examination for students who fail in not more than two papers over six semesters since 2011 (Held in April). This initiative of holding the Instant exam in April is to facilitate the progression of students to Higher Education courses and Companies with less inconvenience.
- Informing the students of the schedule for Instant Exams, well in advance and announcing the results in 2 weeks.
Grievance Redressal Measures
- The Examination Committee attends to grievances pertaining to examinations.
- When the results are announced, the students approach the Examination Cell.
- The Committee prepares a detailed schedule for redressal.
- There is provision for revaluation.
- The guidelines for revaluation are put up on the notice board and the time period within the announcement of results, which must be complied with.
- The Controller/Assistant Controller counsels the students on the process of revaluation.
