The Department of Forensic Science was established in 2026 with the vision of providing quality education, scientific knowledge, and practical exposure in the field of forensic science. It is among the first departments in Visakhapatnam (Vizag) to offer B.Sc. (Hons.) Forensic Science under Andhra University, creating opportunities for students to build successful careers in forensic and investigative sciences.

The department is committed to developing skilled professionals through a balanced approach of academic learning and practical training.
